RITC Syndicate Management Limited, a Lloyd's managing agent, was formed in 2007 specifically to underwrite the closure of Lloyd's syndicates with open years. The managing agent has formed Syndicate 5678 for the purpose of providing the capacity necessary to close out those open years.
